Faith comes from hearing the word (Romans 10:17)
Therefore we continually give thanks to God, because when you heard the word of God that we preached, you accepted it not as a human word but as the word of God. Indeed, it is the word of God, and it is at work in you who believe in the Lord. (1 Thessalonians 2:13)

We hear the word through the word of Christ (Romans 10:17)
As long as you remain steadfast and grounded in the faith, and are not led astray from the hope of the gospel, which you have heard and which has been proclaimed to all the whole world, I, Paul, have become a minister of this gospel. (Colossians 1:23)

How can they preach the word unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!” (Romans 10:15)
